S01E06 "To Your Health" Details
- "B Block North Wing" signage in the stairwell down from the hospital ward, directly under "C Block"; unclear which floor exactly the hospital ward is on, only that it's above B-Block
- Based on the previous episode signage, it can be seen that Oz has at least 4 levels above ground; later seasons demonstrate that the cafeteria is closely situated to Emerald City, suggesting that Emerald City is above D Block; if Cell Block 5 = E Block, that also tracks with Emerald City being on the 5th level of Oz—assuming B Block is ground level
- In this episode, we can see that there are at least 2 flights of stairs above C-Block, which tracks with there being at least 5 floors over all
- Obviously from a production standpoint, they filmed in a building in the first seasons and then the later set probably had the cafeteria and all that close together for filming reasons, but the implication in-universe is that Oz is several floors high, and that somehow Busmalis was tunneling from the 5th floor LOL
- Original dentist's name is Dr. Kochurn
- Receiving & Departures is mentioned to be after showers, and is where Gen-Pop and Em City bound inmates separate

- It's mentioned that Oswald is located somewhere off Route 7a
- McManus wears this wristwatch looped through his pants
- When the riot breaks out, the TV is playing shoot-out scene in an old western
- If he was 9 going on 10 during the Attica riot, McManus is ~35 years old in season 1
