this & other such half-baked Chico/Miguel Oz AUs left in my drafts bc i write them at like 1am

I half remember watching Planet Terror when I wrote this (probably where 'careening' came from, since Cherry Darling surely does careen on that motorcycle before shooting everyone with her leg) but I think it was supposed to be some kind of Mr & Mrs Smith AU (Mr & Mr :P) (that movie does not hold up btw) (NOT as interesting as the pre-teen mind remembers).

Anyway, I guess it's still too unformed an idea to really contemplate, but whatever. Another instance where I am just desperately trying to get a gun in Chico's hand!! He brandishes one so funnily in my mind.

(they show up at the courthouse to get divorced even though they're not actually legally married. that's just part of the drama of course)
chico is sooooooo betrayed by the fact that it happens even though he is the one who dared to bring up the idea of a split in the first place
I think in this AU Toby is definitely the local small time arms dealer who mostly flies under the radar but is known by a few (whole other story about how he got pulled into the seedy criminal underworld)
he's always flipflopping about whether or not he's doing crime tho so you have to like. call around and find out if he'll hook you up, or if the stars are not aligned or some shit. or if there's some bullshit with his ex, or if they're back together. AGAIN.....
